Volunteering With Us

Volunteers are always needed and greatly appreciated—especially during spring and summer when rescue numbers increase dramatically. Volunteering with Australian Animal Rescue can be an incredibly rewarding and meaningful experience.

We are currently seeking:

Fundraisers If you can spare a few hours, we’d love your help raising funds for our organisation. We need friendly, reliable people to assist with fundraising in shopping centres on weekends or weekdays. Uniforms, merchandise and all necessary information are provided.

Transport Volunteers We need volunteers to pick up and transport animals from vets, shelters or members of the public. You’ll need a valid driver’s licence, a car, GPS and mobile phone. Confidence with animals is preferred, but full training will be provided.
