Volunteers

Volunteers are always needed and appreciated specially in the spring and summer time.

We currently are looking for :-

• People to pick up and transport animals from vets, shelters or the general public. Requirements are basic drivers licence, car, melways or GPS, phone, no fear of animals though the animal is usually contained, and training will be provided. with this position cost will occur such as phone and petrol.

• Volunteers to work at our shelter and others.

Kate Stephenson

Kate's love for animals has her wanting to be surrounded by them, she has done a course in nursing and management of wildlife, and a certificate 3 in animal technology.

Kate regularly shops for fresh produce for the animals. Kate also works diligently in maintaining the enclosures and is committed to professionally caring for the animals every single week.

Jake Blanch

Jake attends St Peter's College, and dedicates his spare time
to volunteering at the shelter. Jake hopes to work full time with animals
when he completes school.

Helen Hone

Helen’s works for the Westpac bank and  weekends volunteers her time to volunteering

at the shelter, Helen’s love of animals has her wanting to learn more and is currently

doing a course at Vic Uni.
