About Us

Australian Animal Rescue Inc, is a non for profit volunteer, non government organization, established in April 09 after the devastating bush fires of which we spent 3 months rescuing wildlife, and getting as much food and supplies out to the people and animals throughout the Gippsland, Kinglake and Marysville areas.

Nigel Williamson of Nigel's Animal Rescue has been rescuing a large range of animals from all sorts of situations for the past 24 years. Sharon who also helps out with the occasional rescue runs the Australian Animal Rescue shelter at their Devon Meadows property with the back up support of dedicated volunteers.

Our committee is managed by 6 professional and knowledgeable people, and the number of members continue to grow each day.

We differ from other groups, as we also specialize in domestic animal rescues as well as wildlife.

Australian Animal Rescue Inc operates 24 hour, 7 days a week animal rescue and information service.
